If you think that there are bed bugs where you sleep, do not begin sleeping in another bed or on your couch out in the living room. This can only spread the bed bug problem even more throughout your home. Also avoid going to stay with others, unless you want to share your problem with them as well. Bed bugs will latch onto anything to hitch a ride into a new home or onto a new host to feed on. 

Pay Close Attention to Any Signs of Bed Bugs in your Home 

Bed bugs are very successful at staying hidden from the human eye for long periods of time. A bed bug is able to successfully hide due to its shape and color. Many people often compare the appearance of a bed bug to that of an apple seed. Bed bugs are slender and flat in shape and their color is dark brown to black. If you happen to find a bed bug in your home, do not discard of it, but save it in a zip lock bag to show your pest technician from Eagle Pest Services. You may also need to show it to your landlord so you can quickly begin the process of having the bed bugs removed by a professional. There are specific signs that bed bugs leave behind that you should pay close attention to.
